The Twelve Apostles are a series of limestone stacks standing out of the Southern Ocean off the coast of Port Campbell National Park in Victoria, Australia.

There are currently only 8 of them standing out, rest have fallen to the wrath of the mighty waves from the Southern Ocean. Most of them are getting eroded at the rate of 2 cm per year along with the cliff face of the headland, thereby creating new apostles at the same time. It’s a wonderful phenomenon of older apostles ones way to new ones.

The Twelve Apostles are one of the most visited places in Australia and the view at sunset is simply breathtaking.
